In their interview with EW both Jensen and Jared talked about the series end which could possibly be when (and if) the show reaches its 300th episode;

But the key to living such a long life — besides coming back from the dead, of course — is never looking too far down the line. For Ackles and Padalecki, their focus is on the next milestone: hitting 300 episodes. “In a marathon, I keep my sights on that next mile, wherever that might be,” Ackles says. “And 300’s a good number to work for.”

Episode 300 would take the show 13 episodes into season 14, or all the way through season 14 if they did a shortened season, something Ackles and executive producer Bob Singer have talked about as a potential option. “We talked about wanting to be able to know when our end was, and if it was to be, let’s say, 300 episodes, we could tell a 13-episode story,” Singer says. “I think it would be bad for this show to just ride off in the sunset without a finale. I think we’ve earned that. I don’t know what that finale is, but we’d certainly like to do one.”

However, Ackles and Padalecki don’t want to get too ahead of themselves. If Sam and Dean have taught them anything, it’s that Death can be lurking around every corner (and he’s usually eating pizza). “If we don’t make it to 300, I think Ackles and I will both be truly bummed,” Padalecki says. “When we get to 300, I think Ackles and I will think it might be time to say bye. There’s a chance that changes, but we certainly do not take it for granted that we’re going to make it to 300.”

Eric’s work also includes the NBC series Revolution, Ghost Facers, and Tarzan which he created with Mike Werb and Michael Colleary. His newest project is the upcoming tv event, Time. Eric is one of the most successful and sought after showrunners in television today. Yesterday Jensen shared the exciting news on his social media accounts that himself and Supernatural friend and co-star, Misha Collins, have joined forces with Random Acts and Creation Stands to bring about a new project, You Are Not Alone. This campaign will work together with To Write Love On Her Arms and I’m Alive to fund the creation of a crisis support network to help those dealing with mental illness and addiction. Below is a statement from Random Acts website;

The Supernatural Fandom was the cornerstone of Random Acts’ beginnings and we continue to be supported by the community. It is with great joy and excitement that we announce a multi-faceted partnership with IMAlive and To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) to bring this new initiative to fruition. Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Creation Stands have joined together with Random Acts to provide support for this important program.

The #SPNFamily Crisis Support Network is a community support system that helps fans cope with mental health issues such as depression, self-injury, and addiction.

Together, and in partnership with Jensen and Misha’s “You Are Not Alone” Creation Stands T-shirt campaign (launching February 2016), we are raising funds to develop this online community platform. The platform will provide:

Training for fan volunteers who wish to be crisis responders in their spare time,
Immediate access to support lifelines for fans in crisis, and
Local community resources for those needing additional support or information.

We are developing this platform to work in tandem and partnership with two amazing nonprofits, IMAlive and TWLOHA. – [ source ]

Part of the campaign is funding and for their first fundraising event Jensen and Misha have released a t-shirt in collaboration with Creation Stands and can be purchased by following this link. Jensen also made a post about it on his official Facebook page;

Okay y'all…here it is. I'm proud to join my buddy, Misha Collins , in raising funds for a cause from the ground up. …
